Attenly

Privacy

Last updated September 2026.

What Attenly stores

  • Your email address, used only to send your sign-in code.
  • The name and roll number you enter when you create or join a group.
  • Group names, and the attendance marks (present, absent, leave) for each date.
  • A history of every change: who changed which mark, and when.

There are no ads and no tracking or analytics scripts. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

Who can see it

  • Members of your group see the group’s students, attendance and history. Nobody sees a group until its owner approves them.
  • The group owner also sees join requests, including the email address of the person asking to join.
  • People outside your group see nothing about it.
  • Nobody above the group. Attenly has no admin view: each group is controlled only by the person who made it. Sahil, who runs Attenly, can reach the database only to keep it running or to delete data you ask to have removed.

Under 18?

Attenly is used by school students. If you are under 18, please use it only with your parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Where it is kept

Data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in) and the site is served by Netlify. Both are used only to run the app.

Deleting your data

Your group’s owner can remove you from the group. To have your account and everything linked to it deleted, contact the maker of Attenly, and it will be done.
